IdHSC, FBI Background, FBI Rap Sheet, etc.) and is able to accept your document 100% electronically. Our Apostille Services goes along with our Expedited FBI background Checks which is available for U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident Alien of the United States.

Why Do I Need An FBI Apostille?
If you plan on getting dual citizenship or traveling to a foreign country to live, work, or attend school, then Federal Fingerprinting has the ability to transmit fingerprints electronically for Expedited Processing of your FBI Background Check. Many countries will request FBI Background Checks to be Apostilled which is also one of Federal Fingerprinting Services! An Apostille means that the State Department in Washington D.C. has reviewed and confirmed that the background check paper/information that they have received from you is authentic and correct and then they put their stamp of approval on it, making it a certified copy.

Q: How do I get an FBI Background Check Apostille?
A: To get your FBI Background Check Apostille, you will need to contact Federal Fingerprinting to set up a fingerprint appointment and you must also have a Valid ID such as a U.S. Passport or U.S. driver’s license/ State ID card and where you are going to be traveling to and you will need to get your fingerprints captured on one of our Expedited FBI Fingerprint Systems either in person, or you may also submit fingerprint cards to us along with other identity, verifying statements which are completed by the law-enforcement agency that you get your fingerprinting done as well as a copy of your ID and a statement form stating that you are either a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent U.S. Legal Resident.
Q: How do I know if I need an Apostille?
A: Most countries that are under the Hague Convention require an Apostille. However, you may contact the Consulate of the Country that you are corresponding with and will let you know whether or not your FBI Background requires an Apostille.
Q: What if the country I need an Apostille for is not part of the Hague Convention?
A: Some countries still require Authentications but are NOT part of the Hague Convention. Depending on the country, additional fees and/or paperwork will be required to process this type of request.
