Live Scan is an electronic method of capturing fingerprints digitally and transmitting them to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and/or the FBI. Unlike traditional ink fingerprinting, Live Scan provides faster, more accurate results and eliminates the need for physical cards.
The fingerprinting appointment itself takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Results are transmitted electronically to the requesting agency within minutes of completion.
Walk-in appointments are available at most of our locations. However, we recommend booking online to guarantee your preferred time slot and minimize wait times.
We accept any valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID including a driver's license, state ID, U.S. passport, military ID, or permanent resident card.

Our Live Scan rolling fee is $35–$45. FBI background checks start at $125 (inclusive of the $18 FBI fee). Mobile services are priced based on location and group size. Prices may vary depending on the specific applicant type. Contact us for a free quote.
